our vetting process
In The Leven Office, we teach our students how to make responsible and informed decisions about the organizations they choose to work with. Since 2023, our Outreach Team has called and visited in-person nearly 70 organizations both locally, nationally, and globally.
Criteria that each organization must meet until our office feels comfortable sending students to them:
our Advising process
In the spirit of tikkun olam, Weber students are challenged to complete at least 30 hours of service before graduation. We noticed that many students struggled to meet this challenge. So, as a new initiative in 2026, we now hold advising appointments to match students with organizations that are meaningful to them via Calendly.
