Event Impact Statement:

Together, 95 families and more than 50 support volunteers honored and celebrated Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy through service. Your impact was incredible:

200 soup jars
400 hygiene kits
100 senior care bags
6 art pieces
300 sensory kits
65 lap blankets
80+ birthday cake kits
100+ birthday cards
100 therapeutic comfort packs
100+ beaded bracelets

Families also donated and sorted books with PJ Library, sorted waste with Adamah ATL, learned about Dr. MLK Jr. with Repair the World, made hundreds of keychains for Israeli soldiers with the Schoenbaum Shinshinim, and created slime with the JF&CS Horwitz-Zusman Child & Family Center.

Food Drive and Fundraising Page w/ Atlanta Community Food Bank (100+ cans collected, $126 raised which is equivalent to 756 meals)

2 Events with The Sandwich Project Fall Semester 2025 (1,000+ sandwiches, 100+ cards, 50+ volunteers)

9/11 Week of Service: Card Making for Sandy Springs Police/ Fire Dept., Gifts Given In Gratitude of Their Service (Anonymous Donor matched each card made, and service hour logged during that week, to add towards a gift for the first responders)

2024-2025

Concert for the Kibbutzim w/ Our In-House Band "Broken Glass" ($50,000 raised matched with $50,000 grant from the Marcus Foundation, totaling $100,000 raised, partnering w/ local synagogues and businesses to fund a concession stand, merch table, mocktail bar, and silent auction, all staffed by Leven Office members)

4 Events with The Sandwich Project (2,000+ sandwiches, 100+ cards, 30+ volunteers)

MLK Day of Service Hosted on Weber's Campus by The Leven Office in partnership with JF&CS, assembling dental care kits, mental health bags, writing affirmational cards, and much more!

Spring Food Drive for the JF&CS Kosher Food Pantry (30 cans collected)

Purim Service Event: Made Birthday Cake Kits for Those in Need (15+ birthday cake boxes assembled)

Christopher Leauge "Baseball Buddies" Partnership (30+ children helped in the program)

3 Sandwich Project Events (1,000+ sandwiches made, 100+ cards and snack bags decorated, 100+ snacks donated, 20+ volunteers)
